This past weekend, November 8 was National STEM Day. Capital Area STEM Network Center (CASN) celebrated by attending Super Science Saturday hosted by the LSU Department of Science. Over 1000 children and adults came out to join the fun and experiment with science demos, igniting curiosity for all.
CASN has engaged more than 3,000 students, teachers, and STEM enthusiasts through various outreach events. We want to thank the departments and organizations for having us at:
- The East Baton Rouge Libraries Maker Faire
- The STEM Ecosystems Convening
- Sea Grant's Ocean Commotion
- The LATM/LSTA Joint Conference
LSU Department of Science's Super Science Saturday
And a huge shout-out to our industry partnerships, like Campos EPC, for supporting the funding for the Pressure Pipeline Challenge, which invited students to explore water pressure and flow with plastic tubing and syringes. We've had a blast with this STEM demo!
