What is the schedule for the training in Baton Rouge (LSU)?

Training will be held on Monday, July 22nd, Tuesday, July 23rd, and Wednesday, July 24th.

The AM group is from 8:30 am -11:30 am, with lunch included for all participants and an optional tour from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. The PM group is from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm, with lunch included for all participants and an optional tour from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.

July 22nd AM group is for grade K and the PM group is for grade 1.

July 23rd AM group is for grade 2 and the PM group is for grade 3.

July 24th AM group is for grade 4 and the PM group is for grade 5.

 

What is the schedule for the training in Ruston (Louisiana Tech University)?

Training will be held Thursday PM on July 25th and all day Friday on July 26th.

Thursday PM on July 25th is from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm, with lunch included for all participants from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Friday AM group is from 8:30 am - 11:30 am, and the Friday PM group is from 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm, with lunch included for all participants from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.

July 25th PM groups are for grades K and 3.

July 26th AM groups are for grades 1 and 4; PM groups are for grades 2 and 5.

 

Where will the Baton Rouge (LSU) training take place?

The Baton Rouge training will take place at LSU's Water Campus. Address is 1110 River Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70802, with a parking lot across from the Water Campus.

 

Where will the Ruston (Louisiana Tech University) training take place?

The Ruston training will take place at Louisiana Tech University's Woodard Hall, rooms #140 and #141. Address is 305 Wisteria St, Ruston, LA 71272; the building is between Mayfield Ave and Wisteria St with parking available on Mayfield Ave,

 

If I teach more than one grade, what should I do?

You can sign up for multiple grade bands.

 

What will I receive from this training?

One STEM kit per teacher will be given to participants.

 

How much does this training cost?

This training is free to participants.
