The Capital Area STEM Network Center and LSU’s Gordon A. Cain Center for STEM Literacy are proud to announce the 2025 VEX Robotics Regional and State Competitions! These exciting events will bring together nearly 1,000 students from 3rd to 12th grade, along with their parents, to celebrate STEM and the power of robotics. The competitions will be hosted at Patrick F. Taylor Hall on the Louisiana State University campus, offering an incredible opportunity for students to demonstrate their skills and innovation.
Mark your calendars for the Regional competition on January 25, 2025, followed by the State competition on February 22-23, 2025. These weekends will be packed with action as students battle it out in a variety of robotic challenges, gaining hands-on experience with technology and teamwork.
We are calling on volunteers to help make these events a success. Whether you have experience or not, there are several roles you can fill. Volunteering at a VEX Robotics competition is a great way to get involved in the local STEM community and support young innovators. Multiple time slots are available, so you can choose what works best for you. If you are interested in volunteering, scan the QR codes on the flyer or visit the Capital Area STEM website to sign up.
Not able to volunteer? Consider becoming a sponsor to help support these young tech enthusiasts and ensure that the event runs smoothly.
