VEX Robotics State Competition at LSU Sparks Innovation and Teamwork

The Capital Area STEM Network Center and LSU’s Gordon A. Cain Center for STEM Literacy proudly hosted the 2025 VEX Robotics State Competition on February 22-23, 2025, at Patrick F. Taylor Hall on the Louisiana State University campus in collaboration with the LSU College of Engineering

This event brought together nearly 1,000 students from 3rd to 12th grade, along with their parents, to celebrate STEM and the power of robotics. 

The competition featured teams showcasing their engineering skills, strategic thinking, and teamwork as they vied for top honors in various robotic challenges. The event not only highlighted the participants' technical abilities but also their dedication to innovation and problem-solving.

The success of the competition was made possible by the efforts of numerous volunteers and sponsors. Their support ensured a smooth and engaging experience for all attendees, fostering a community passionate about STEM education and robotics. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and participated - we hope to see you next year!
